#SpeakOutSilenceHurts
Avon launched a campaign to mark the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, this comes amid concern that during the 2020 social restrictions would spark a second surge in domestic violence after global cases increased by 20% during the first lockdown. As part of the campaign Avon released a lipstick, the profits of which went to survivors of domestic abuse at a critical time, during the 2020 lockdown. I designed a box explaining what the lipstick is aimed to achieve, as well as the importance of the issue. The inside of the box featured an image of a woman with a real face mask fixed to it, featuring the key hashtag of the campaign. When the user removed the face mask, hidden signs of physical abuse such as bruising were starkly revealed, symbolising the hidden abuse many faced while isolating at home. I also created social posts to support the campaign and help get the message out.

Avon is committed to putting people and the planet first. Focusing on animal-welfare, woman’s rights, breast cancer and violence against women. Requiring reports and social posts to bring attention to their efforts or campaigns that need it most. AI also designed several logos for different parts of their campaign, including one for No Animal Testing.
